diving @ Samal Island, Davao

I never thought I'll go diving in Davao. I was in Kidapawan, North Cotabato when I contacted Xycris. Xycris invited me to stay overnight in his place to catch up and hangout. Since, I'm going back to Manila the next day, I agreed.

Xycris and his family is into diving. They have a scheduled dive the next day, Sunday.  He and his dad invited me to join. I was hesitant but excited at the same time. It will be my first time but I don't know how to swim. Hahaha!

On our way to the diving spot in Samal Island, someone caught my attention. He's a Japanese, good looking guy. He's been in Davao for almost 6 months already, he's a licensed advanced open water diver, an addict. What caught my attention really is that he's deaf. He communicate through writing using his tablet.

Here's Xycris getting ready to jump and preparing his underwater camera:

Yes! it's required to hydrate before jumping to the water.
underwater cameras are ready.

Clown Fish! Nemo is that you? :D

"Pawikan" almost 6ft long
